As a Mailroom Clerk/Receptionist, you would be at the forefront of managing communication and administrative tasks for the company. Here's an overview of the responsibilities typically associated with this dual role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting visitors, clients, and employees in person or over the phone with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Handling inquiries and providing basic information about the company, its services, and its location.
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy, organized, and well-presented at all times.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings as needed.
- Sorting incoming mail, including letters, packages, and parcels, and distributing them to the appropriate recipients or departments.
- Processing outgoing mail, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for postage or courier services.
- Handling packages and parcels with care to prevent damage during processing and delivery.
- Operating mailroom equipment such as postage meters, letter openers, and sorting machines.
- Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and any discrepancies.
- Documenting any special handling instructions or requests for mail items.
- Keeping detailed logs of mailroom activities and expenses related to postage, courier services, and office supplies.

Pay: $29.25 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
