**Title: Bilingual Operations Specialist I (English/Mandarin)**

**Job Type**: Full-time Non-exempt

**Reports to**: Emilia Cardenas

**Location**: Austin, TX (Corporate Headquarters located in the Domain)

**Summary**:Citizens is looking for a **Bilingual **Operations Compliance Specialist I to join the Team and provide customer service to policy owners and independent consultants across multiple lines of insurance (life, health, accident, and annuity) and multiple companies operating within the Citizens, Inc. group of companies. Work is performed at the corporate headquarters in Austin, TX located in the Domain. The **Bilingual **Operations Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Operations Compliance Supervisor.

**2. Processing and Handling Requests**:
Processes various requests from policy owners, associates, and other departments.

**3. Problem Solving and Research**:
Researches and responds to IC questions and problems related to Third party payments.

**4. Documentation and Record-Keeping**:
Performs accurate documentation of case work.

**5. Quality Assurance**:
Audit assigned cases.

**6. Training and Development**:
Cross train with other areas of the department.

**7. Time Management and Prioritization**:
Prioritizes work and manages multiple tasks and assignments.

**8. Additional Responsibilities**:
Performs other related duties/projects as required and assigned.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- A high school diploma, GED, or associate degree.
- **Proficient in the Mandarin language, native speakers preferred.**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- At least one year of clerical experience.
- Bilingual (English /Mandarin)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Customer Service experience. Insurance Industry experience.
