**Workers’ Compensation Intake Paralegal Job Description**

We pride ourselves on providing personalized and efficient representation at every step of the process. Although we are a national firm, our structure and workflow allow us to provide clients with personalized “boutique” representation typically only seen in small firms.
Our California workers’ department is the fastest growing department in the firm, and as such, associates will have opportunities for future growth within the firm. We are looking for attorneys who want a career, not just a job. Our workers’ compensation case pipeline is a truly unique resource, as most of our clients are unable to return to the open labor market. Moreover, our firm structure & system is designed to provide our attorneys with every opportunity to succeed from day one.
**Responsibilities/Duties**:
- Gathering information from potential clients to help Attorneys determine if their case meets the Firm's case criteria.
- Management of the beginning stages of the client relationship.
- Use of case management software.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.
- Some administrative duties as needed.
**Required Skills/ Abilities**:
- **Bilingual**: Spanish
- Customer service skills.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- The ability to conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism.
- Some administrative assistant duties as needed.
- 2-3 years of Intake experience at a plaintiff law firm
**Education and Experience**:
- High school Degree Required.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

**Salary**:
$22- $27 an hour depending on experience.
