**Typical Day will include**:
- Billing for 24-32 patients
- Reviewing denials
- Submitting appeals
- Receiving authorizations
- Following up with insurance firms on past due accounts
- Reviewing aging and charges
- Running Reports
- Contacting private pays
- Following government billing procedures
- Interacting with a compassionate, caring pediatric primary care team
- Some Duties: Coding, Billing, Remitting electronic claims to clearing houses, working rejections, responsible for entire assigned account/s, and leadership/management.
**Special Talents**:
- Empathy for patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- knowledge and experience with coding and billing for pediatric and family practice a plus
- **Certified Coder or in process or will seek that accreditation**

- Two years Medical Billing experience
- Knowledge and experience working with HMO, PPO, and government insurance EMR experience.
Experience working with PCC (Physician Computer Company) is a plus
Pay: $17.61 - $22.66 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
