**Position Description**:
**Position Overview**:

- The Public Safety Enterprise Liaison works closely with Harris County’s Public Safety Community and Subject Matter Expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements. Primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between business needs and technology delivery in a structured development environment, ensuring the seamless alignment of both domains.

As a key liaison between the business and technology solutions, the liaison will craft business requirements and rules tailored to Harris County's Law Enforcement needs. Utilizing industry standard analysis methods, identify requirements through interviews, workshops, and existing system documentation. Their expertise will drive the creation and refinement of critical analysis artifacts and deliverables, including process maps, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance tests.

This role has an opportunity to make a tangible impact by facilitating the integration of cutting-edge technology solutions into the daily operations of Harris County's Law Enforcement agencies.

**Job Duties**:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical project-level partnership between business needs and technological training delivery in a structured development environment.-
- Develops business requirements and related business rules based on Harris County law enforcement needs.-
- Identifies project needs and requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis.-
- Solicits requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.-
- Creates and revises training material and training procedures and deliverables such as: Lesson Plans, visual media and comprehensive training and evaluation procedures.-

**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 10 years of related experience.**Experience**:
A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated leadership experience.**Knowledge, Skill & Abilities (KSAs)**:
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Law Enforcement Community.-
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.-
- Flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks and strong facilitation skills are essential.-
- The ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management- **Automatic Disqualification**:

- Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for any Felony, and any Class A Misdemeanor
- Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for a Class B Misdemeanor, if within the previous 10 years
- Open arrest for any criminal offense (Felony or Misdemeanor)
- Family Violence conviction

**Preferences**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or Associates degree with 5 years of related experience.**Experience**:

- 40 Hours per Week | Monday - Friday-

- May be required to work more than forty (40) hours during the workweek, weekends or 24 hours on-call for special projects or to meet deadlines.**Location**:
