Product Development Testing Technician

Although it takes the entire team to ensure quality is established and maintained, it’s our Testing Technicians that ensure our products, and all components, are reliable, durable, and meet, if not exceed, industry standards.

As a **Testing Technician**, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the development process, performing critical validation testing. With a hands-on approach, you will be directly performing verification and certification of new and existing products. Utilizing appropriate software, equipment, and tools within our testing facility, you will measure, assess, and interpret the findings to help improve overall product design and performance, working with Development Engineering in a collaborative environment. Testing procedures will vary, but will include structural, fatigue, environmental, and vibration testing among others.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Identify, set up, and execute testing processes for various products
- Accurately maintain testing records and provide written results to aid in further development of products
- Understand industry standards and carry through appropriate testing to ensure conformance
- Promote and follow all safety guidelines and identify potential risks, while working with tooling, equipment, and in test environments

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Mechanically inclined with basic welding and machining skills (drill press, mill, lathe)
- General electrical background with ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Knowledge and familiarity with testing instrumentation (strain gauges, load cells, string potentiometers, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task and work on various projects at once
- High level of responsibility, ability to be a self-starter and manage time accordingly
- Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
