IT Helpdesk Support

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Keep track IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues and escalate unresolved problems as necessary.
- Document support interactions, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommendations.
- Provide assistance to the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) team as needed.
- Participate in cross-training activities with other team members to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a helpdesk support role or similar technical support position.
- Strong customer service skills and customer-focused attitude are a must.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and IT service management practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels of technical expertise.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support and service.
- Motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to professional development and acquiring new skills.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
