Overview:
Join our team as a Kitchen Assistant for our Congregate Services Program. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about food preparation and serving seniors.

**Duties**:

- Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the chef
- Support kitchen operations by helping with food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist in serving meals
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
