**Event and Venue Coordinator**

We are seeking an outgoing and detailed orientated Event and Venue Coordinator for our Plantation office. The Coordinator will play a primary role in coordinating educational seminars for an esteemed estate planning law firm.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and locate ideal meeting locations in specific geographic areas
- Create RFP’s (Request for Proposal) to send to potential venues
- Coordinate logístical aspects of events, such as venue selection, transportation, catering, audio-visual requirements
- Collaborate and communicate with internal teams, including marketing, attorneys and accounting
- Work with management to assure timely execution of venue and vendor contracts
- Ensure website updates for accurate seminar information
- Provide support to CSCs to secure event supplies
- Design emergency contingency plans
- Position may require occasional travel and work outside of regular business hours

**Skills**
- 2+ years of experience planning seminars/events
- Capable of working well with internal and external team/partners
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to effectively solve problems and think creatively
- Strong project management, customer service and relationship building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong people skills
- Be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects and follow through in a timely manner
- Ability to be flexible and handle changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Teams.
