Every Dog is looking for a fun and creative Marketing Intern to join our team This is an excellent environment for a dog-loving marketer looking to learn, grow, and make an impact on dogs and their humans.
**About Every Dog**:
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to provide inclusive, accessible dog training and behavior resources to the Austin community.
We have a vision for a time when professional, ethical (and fun) dog training and behavior support is accessible for all of Austin's dogs (and their people). We're all about reaching the thousands of dogs in our area who don't typically receive professional behavior support, often due to finances, accessibility, or lack of awareness.
What You'll Do:
- Help create social media content within our Canva templates (video thumbnails, classes announcements, etc.).
- Update old content to align with our current brand.
- Clean up and organize Canva.
- Occasionally take videos for reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Post current reels on YouTube Shorts.
- Write or edit blog posts.
- Edit/create handouts for classes/training.
- Create blog or social summaries of webinars.
- Upload webinars to YouTube
- Help execute marketing campaigns.
- Brainstorm with the marketing team on using long and short-term trends in Every Dog content.
- Occasionally capture photos and videos of dog-training classes.
- Assist with a few non-marketing tasks like writing thank you notes and helping with client appreciation events.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- Flexible working hours.
- Commitment: 15 hours/week
- Duration: 3 Months

What We're Looking For:
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
- Proficient with Google Suites, Canva, and Meta Platforms.
- Creative problem solver and self-starter who can work independently.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of SEO in short-form content.
- Basic photography skills, image and video editing, and graphic design.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Must be 18+
Education and Experience:
- Working towards or recently completed a degree in marketing or a related field.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
