Sightline is a multi-year initiative that leverages a cross-disciplinary, inter-entity team and hundreds of stakeholders in selecting and implementing the next ERP software platform for the Johns Hopkins enterprise, enabling broader operational transformation and the reduction of administrative barriers to mission critical work. Sightline's scope includes changes in business processes, policies and other operating considerations that will make administrative actions -such as purchasing supplies and services, managing grant budgets, creating financial reports, and hiring and recruiting
- simpler, streamlined, and more standardized throughout the enterprise.
The Sightline program is investing in and cares deeply about enabling this change through a dedicated team that will work across the University and Health System to engage and prepare the Johns Hopkins community for that change with communications, engagement, and training and development programs.
Sightline is seeking a **_Director of Training & Development_** who is responsible for the Johns Hopkins Sightline learning and development program. This role will lead a team in the design, development, and delivery of relevant and effective training to prepare the Johns Hopkins community for system and process changes. The position will be responsible for ensuring that training is aligned to project and stakeholder needs and that it delivers meaningful and measurable outcomes to ensure the Johns Hopkins staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties. Training Director responsibilities include identifying training needs based on training need and gap analyses, developing group and individual learning courses and learning aids, and managing the overall training program, team, and budget.
The Training and Development Director directs, supports, and approves the training materials created by the training developers and coordinates and oversees the delivery of all training material including, but not limited to, Instructor-led training (ILT) job aids (JA), quick reference guides (QRG), train-the-trainer (TTT), web-based training (WBT). The Training Director will continually monitor the training program and modify the training materials and delivery, as needed, based on training outcomes and metrics.
The Director must maintain close contact and collaboration with the other Sightline Change Management teams including Communications, Engagement & Readiness, and Program Management and must also work closely with Sightline's functional teams and transformation leads to align efforts and execution. The Director will work extensively with leadership across the University and Health System to design, develop, and deliver the Training & Development program.
