**Position Description Summary/Purpose**:
This position performs routine cleaning of interior areas of all University buildings. **We are hiring for a **part-time **Custodian and have the following open position**:
Pathways Academy of Technology and Design at Goodwin University:

- **Part-Time Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 3:00pm**

**Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities**:

- Cleans, dusts, disinfects, vacuums, sweeps, mops as appropriate all interior areas of College buildings including offices, classrooms, conference rooms and learning centers, restrooms, cafeteria, computer rooms, laboratories, libraries, lounge areas, furniture, closets and windows.
- Tasks performed are standardized.
- Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed

**Other Functions**:

- Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.
- Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
- Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort

- Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment used in cleaning activities

**Education, Training and Experience**:

- High school diploma or GED with 1 to 2 weeks training
