- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating chart and server rotation
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage waitlist during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management regarding table availability and special requests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
- Ensure a positive guest experience by providing efficient and friendly service

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Excellent phone etiquette for taking reservations and handling guest inquiries
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlist and seating arrangements
- Friendly and outgoing personality to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
