**Overview**

Core Tile is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our tile and stone team. We are working at a higher velocity, growing, and gaining more cliental working with Architects, Builders, and Designers on Custom Build Homes in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale area.

**Summary**

Our Estimator will attend meetings to walk-thru and field measure the project. Draw up estimates, and determine the overall costs of a new or existing construction project. Create a list with all the needed materials and write down an estimated amount necessary to complete the client’s project. Work closely with architects, engineers, builders, designers, and vendors to calculate costs. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you

**Responsibilities**
- Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
- Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
- Resolves cost differences by analyzing and collecting info.
- Writes up and presents budgets, reports, and project plans.
- Develops bids for construction projects.
- Works closely with architects and other professionals.
- Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff.
- Navigates and understands building codes.
- Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required.
- Monitors construction processes.
- Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction.
- Works closely with Office Manager and team.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans
- Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once and prioritize workload efficiently
- Knowledge of the latest building codes
- Close attention to detail and organized
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment operation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual is a must

**Education Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, architecture, or a similar field is preferred
- Certificate in general construction, flooring, stone, roofing, electrician etc.
- At least 2-3 years of related experience is required

**Hours & Benefits**
- Monday - Friday 6:30am-4:00pm
- No weekends, unless requested by yourself or by owner

- Labor cost analysis: 2 years (required)
- Residential Construction: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Spanish (required)

License/Certification:

- Construction Manager-in-Training (preferred)
- Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
