The ideal candadate will possess the following:

- **Reliability**:

- Ability to multi-task in order to work independently
- Interpersonal skills in order to work with-in a team oriented environment
- Attention to detail. Data Entry accuracy and careful handling of important documents are a must as you handle each patients personal information.
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA laws and regulations. Keeping patients’ records from unauthorized persons to ensure their privacy.
- Outstanding customer relations skills to effectively handle clients from diverse backgrounds
- Answer multiple telephone calls from clients and speak with them when they visit the clinic in person
- Schedule patients correctly according to the scheduling guidelines provided by management
- Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic
- Guide patients in completing medical forms to avoid errors and inaccurate information
- Inform patients of the various dental services offered by the clinic
- Confirm appointments in line with office protocols
- Good knowledge of common terminologies in a dental practice
- Must be able to use and understand dental terminology in order to present accurate treatment plans to the patient provided by the Doctor. This process includes reviewing the estimated insurance and patient payment portion.
- Good knowledge of dental insurance. Must know the difference between a PPO and HMO plan being able to communicate this information to the patient. **OUR OFFICE PARTICIPATES WITH PPO INSURANCE PLANS ONLY WE DO NOT EXCEPT ANY TYPE OF HMO INSURANCE PLAN**:

- Ability to verify insurance coverage for the patient following guidelines provided by management.
- Check-in all patients following the schedule alert guidelines provided by management. Collecting co-pay’s and previous account balances as needed.
- Check-out all patients following the guidelines presented by management which will include but not be limited to: collecting co-pays and past due balances, presenting treatment plans, scanning all necessary documents, and batching patient procedures for claim submission.
- Other duties as assigned
- **DENTAL SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT: DENTRIX**

**WORK SCHEDULE**:This is a part-time position with the possibility to grow into full-time. Applicants must be flexible. You will be required to work at lease 2 Saturday’s per Month. Complete schedule to be discussed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (preferred)
- Dentrix: 1 year (preferred)
