**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
The Supervisor, Core Lab Quality supervises a variety of day-to-day operational functions of the chemistry section and manages the point-of-care testing program. This position provides technical bench work as needed to support workload demands.
**What qualifications you will need**:
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital laboratory experience in Chemistry and Point-of-Care testing including methodological details and quality control
- Excellent interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment to our customers, employees, and community
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Maintains active Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in the State of California
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles, practices, and techniques.
- Working knowledge of laboratory information systems
- Working knowledge of quality assurance/performance improvement programs
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral and writing skills that communicate and motivate effectively
- Ability to identify and prioritize issues and concerns, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose and implement an optimal course of action.
- Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment to our employees, work associates and community
- Bachelor's Degree
Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380+ bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties along with the Greater Conejo Valley. We are the only **Level II Trauma Center** in East Ventura County. We are known for providing excellent care with **compassion** and kindness** to each of our patients.
