**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.

Perform routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and processing insurance information.

Perform basic laboratory tests, including blood draws, urinalysis, and specimen collection, and ensure accurate documentation of results.

Provide patient education and instructions on medication, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and compassion in all patient interactions, maintaining confidentiality and respect for individual needs.

**Qualifications**:
Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited program.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced healthcare setting, preferably in urgent care or primary care.

Proficiency in performing clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and wound care.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer proficiency.

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
