Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading trucks, the delivery driver is responsible for delivering company products to customers in a safe timely fashion and load and unload vehicles at our facilities and customer locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Safely operate a box truck
- Load and unload material, both at the manufacturing location and customer locations
- Ability to coordinate delivery details with the customer
- Check load for accuracy before leaving for delivery
- Properly maintain and track daily logs and related record keeping
- Report any issues or incidents to management
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
**Skills and Abilities**
- **Must be at least 21 years of age**:

- **Must have a clean driving record**:

- Meet physical demands for medium to heavy work
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated
- Punctual/dependable with great attendance

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1 year experience driving box truck (preferred)

**PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES**

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:

- _Continually_ required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- _Regularly_ required to sit or stand and to walk.
- _Occasionally_ required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- **_Regularly required to lift 50 lbs._**
