Professional Golfers Career College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach our Written and Oral Communications courses for our Temecula, California campus location. The position will require you to teach two courses which run 2 hours each a week.

**Course Descriptions**:
Written Communications: This course provides careful study and practice in the methods of achieving a clear and effective style of expository writing. Students are taught to write effective business letters and also to develop their own resumes.

Oral Communications: This course is designed to provide students with the basic concepts of oral communications. Students will learn to develop and deliver effective individual and group presentations in classroom and professional settings.

**Instructor Responsibilities**:

- Instruction: Build a lesson plan, provide instruction to help prepare and educate our students in all aspects of communication. Provide assessment of students’ progress and assist students to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Manage the Classroom: Maintain class schedule, correctly provide student attendance and grade records, keep a safe and welcoming learning environment which provides opportunities for student interaction and evaluation.
- Be a Team Member: At PGCC cohesion of the faculty and instructors is essential in providing a great learning experience. You’ll be expected to participate in faculty meetings and other college events. Must be a cooperative and professional team player.
- Provide Guidance and Support to Students: As an instructor, along with teaching, you are expected to act as a role model and mentor to students assisting them to accomplish their educational and professional goals.
- Be Professional: Meet Professional Golfers Career College standards of professionalism and appropriate attire and appearance.
- Continual Curriculum Development: Develop, continually refresh and revise your curriculum and instructional materials to provide the most relevant information within your course while keeping within the college requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in English, Communication or a related field.
- Efficient in providing clear communication and able to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
- A student centric teaching philosophy placing emphasis on student learning in the execution and delivery of the courses.
- A passion for golf and the golf industry is not required, but a plus.
