We are Looking for an Intelligent hard working individual who likes to engage with people and work as part of a team.

Duties will include typing up contracts, general office work, running errands and going on sales calls. (NO COLD CALLING) Customers will know you are coming, and will be happy to see you. You will have to do some measuring, picture taking and be charming with old people.

Applicants should have basic math skills and know how to use a tape measure. Any experience in building things, making crafts, repairing or remodeling would be helpful but not necessary, we will train. The most important thing is to be presentable have the ability and willingness to LEARN and work hard.

Applicants must have a valid drivers license, speak English fluently and be able to make eye contact with strangers. We will provide you with transportation to job sites or pay you for the use of your own car, if you prefer.

About Us: Thomas Shade is an awning and sign shop serving the Maryland, Washington and Northern Virginia area since 1933. We are nice people with big hearts looking for a new family member we can rely on.

This is a full-time, year-round positions We pay $15 to $22 an hour to start, depending on experience or how fast you can learn your job. Benefits after a year’s employment include: 2 weeks paid vacation and 40 hours sick leave. Flexible hours and understanding supervisors.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
