The opportunity:
The Academic Support Coordinator plays a vital role within the College of Aviation, serving as a crucial link between the Dean, academic Department Chairs, Program Coordinators, and faculty members. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Academic Support Coordinator provides essential assistance in tracking and managing various academic duties and initiatives within the College of Aviation.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist in the coordination and management of academic proposals, ensuring timely submission and compliance with relevant guidelines and standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of Master Course Outlines, ensuring accuracy and alignment with academic requirements.
- Facilitate the compilation and organization of documentation for annual program reviews and professional accreditation processes.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of program playbooks, providing valuable resources for faculty and staff.
- Manage the Faculty Course Clearance Applications process, ensuring faculty members are appropriately prepared for their instructional duties.
- Support faculty preparedness for course development duties, providing necessary resources and guidance.
- Assist in the preparation of academic reports for the Board of Trustees, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to prepare presentations for College academic programs, showcasing achievements and initiatives.
- Provide support during the implementation of new academic programs, coordinating various tasks and ensuring a smooth transition process.
- Assist in the review and updating of the College catalog, ensuring that all program information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage the content of the academic program website, ensuring accuracy and consistency with marketing materials.
- Support the development and distribution of academic program marketing materials, promoting the College's offerings to prospective students and stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of academic operations within the College.
- Foster effective communication with internal and external College customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

- 1-3 year related professional experience.
