Encore Broadcast Solutions helps make dreams a reality We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated **_Sales Consultant_** in both our Altamonte Springs and Tampa, FL locations who wants to earn top-tier compensation while contributing to the core values and success of our broadcast and professional audio/video company. Our goal is to expand our clientele base within the medical/healthcare, corporate, hospitality and entertainment markets, as well as our current areas of expertise.
**Responsibilities**:
- Position is part or full time with commission compensation
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of current products and services in the audio visual industry
- Generate sales leads and set appointments with decision-makers for AV engineering design, equipment needs, installation and service
- Determine price quotations and bid responses that are system complete, accurate and profitable
- Provide consultation, support and project management for equipment sales and/or applicable installation
- Establish professional relationships with manufacturing vendors as well as company engineering and administrative personnel
- Actively explore and secure new business
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Minimum one year sales industry experience in a high volume environment and/or degree in related field
- Highly motivated with a proven sales track record that demonstrates development of effective business relationships
- Strong computer proficiency for generating quotes and sales orders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Superior organizational skills to coordinate sales and installations
- Responsible, respectful team player demonstrating integrity and passion toward the common goal of a top notch experience for our clients
- Ability to understand, present and demonstrate products and services to customers
- Speaks fluent English. Bilingual a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Basic Qualifications as listed above
- Proven strong AV industry sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of areas such as, but not limited to, broadcast studios, video conferencing, command and control rooms, video walls, signal distribution, digital signage, audio and lighting systems, etc.
- Exceptional closing skills and the ability to overcome objections
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements with the ability to ask open-ended questions and explain product options
- Sales experience within the medical industry with contacts such as hospitals, healthcare centers, doctor’s offices and specialty medical professional offices a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
**Required Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent with secondary education a plus
