Avp, Operations Administrator

Responsible for managing deposit operations including item processing/controls, cash controls, new accounts, cash management, overdrafts, BSA/AML, wires, operations compliance, certifications and information technology. This position requires knowledge of bank regulations including compliance and BSA.
Operations Management and Control Functions:
- Set up and maintain all of the Bank’s products.
- Assure that the Operations Department is able to support all Bank products.
- Review and approve all operations, reports.
- Maintain and Balance all related General Ledger accounts.
- Handle all adjustments.
- Assure that all account information is disclosed and compliant.
- Assure that monthly certifications are correct and in balance and approved all items prior to forwarding to Reviewer.
- Assure all compliance requirements are being adhered to.
- Oversee the Wire Transfer functions with regards to online wire requests.
- Review and approve any and all Stop payment requests performed on line.
- Responsible for Branch Audit.
- Monitor Branch expense and income of the Branch income.
- Administer all deposit operations functions:
Cash requirements and controls
Cash letters and daily PCBB/FRB settlement
Item processing including outsourced vendors
New Accounts
Electronic banking operations including internet banking, cash management, RDC, wires, ACH
NSF items and overdrafts
OFAC, FinCEN, BSA/AML, and all other aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act
Incoming and Outgoing wires, both domestic and international
Certifications for Operations
Operations’ compliance
Administration Functions:
- Reports to Chief Operating Officer
- Serve as the bank’s core administrator
- Review and update Operations Policies and Procedures to ensure proper internal control in operations departments.
- Assure the operations staff receives adequate compliance and operational training.
- Manages and evaluates staff performance and productivity.
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
In addition to working in a collaborative team environment, it is expected that individuals in this role possess strengths in the following attributes:
- Thorough knowledge of commercial banking operations, regulations and bank deposit products and services
- Strong problem solving ability with active listening skills
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs, deadlines and extended work hours
- Exhibit a professional, business like appearance and demeanor
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
