As Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

**Essential Role Functions**
- Documents Maintenance
- Permits and Licenses Maintenance
- USDA/FDA releases
- Master Data Maintenance
- Invoices and Landed Cost Approval
- Tracing Expiration Dates
- Working with Donation Organizations

**Work Experience/Requirements for This Role**
- 1-2 years experience in Purchasing or similar role
- MS Excel
- Solid Organization Skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good collaboration skills
- SAP knowledge and experience within import/purchasing area is a plus
- At least HS diploma; preferable associate degree in supply chain, Business Administration or related fields

**Schedule**
- Days: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:30AM - 5:00PM CST
- Work Location: Cicero, IL
