**Quality Inspector / **In-process **inspector**

We seek a Quality Inspector / In-process Inspector with a thorough background in Aerospace machine manufacturing from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect manufactured and processed products to verify conformance to customer drawings and specifications.
- Experience in AS9102 forms and packets.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Must be proficient in using hand measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparator, etc.)
- Responsible for conducting First Article, In-Process, Final inspections, and accurate report generating utilizing AS9102 FAIR format.
- Experience with Quality Management System principles ISO9001: 2008, AS 9100C, etc.
- Generate and maintain Nonconformance reports and records.
- Participate in Corrective Action processes, including containment plans, root cause analysis, corrective countermeasures, and providing objective evidence for verification/closure.
- Accurately document the results of inspections and issue Certificates of Conformance.
- Maintain and archive controlled document files and records promptly and accurately.
- Participate in internal and external audit activities as needed.
- Provide feedback on the quality aspects of parts and assemblies to QA and Production.
- Ability to interact with machinists to communicate inspection results
- Possess a good mechanical aptitude and/or prior machinist experience a plus

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- A minimum of 5 yrs. Experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, new company environment.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- CMM operator experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
