**Experience**:

- Dental Office: 1 year (required)

Duties could include:

- Explain treatment procedures; seek clarification and understanding from patient
- Take patient blood pressure, digital radiographs, able to take panoramic x-ray
- Assist provider throughout exam including complex treatment, surgery, and all operatory-related care
- Take impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed
- Prepare and record clinical notes and charting
- Prepare operatory for patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Intraoral scanning
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Schedule and confirm dental appointment

**Requirements**:

- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental procedures
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Experience with medical documentation and recordkeeping

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
