We are seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This role also involves taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
We are open to training the right candidate that has experience working in a Dental Office.
We are a small, family-owned dental office that has been serving our community since 1995. Our friendly, family-oriented environment makes it a great place to work, where everyone is treated like part of the family. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, which is why we offer an excellent work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch, and Fridays off. You’ll never have to work nights or weekends In addition to a supportive atmosphere, we offer competitive benefits, including paid time off, a retirement plan, and dental benefits. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage charts.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant Certification or relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with dental software is a plus.
