**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating book manuscripts and articles to determine suitability for publication; 2) Editing book manuscripts and articles to ensure accuracy, grammar, clarity of expression, formatting, and organization; 3) Coordinating with authors in order to recommend improvements and/or clarify questionable content. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume.**Education**:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully complete a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Successfully complete two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience

A degree audit is not an acceptable substitution for transcripts.

**Additional information**:
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.
