Job Description:
Based in Norridge, Illinois, located near O'Hare Airport and Schiller Park, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service for customers and staff throughout the Midwest placing customer orders, helping with returns, and supporting customers at our will call pick up counter.

Responsibilities include the following:

- Quote processing and follow up with customer
- Order processing and related customer assistance. In addition to handling stock orders, this includes processing special orders, presenting promotions, handling customer returns and related tasks.
- Follow-up on New Customer leads to assist in growing the local business
- Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory order lead-times, purchase order status & product Information
- This individual should excel in a team-oriented work environment — working with the Norridge and remote branch staff to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and providing contributions that support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Must be self-driven & hardworking
- Proven Inside Sales/Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred)
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient with MS office products (Word, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well with a Team to achieve common goals
- Mechanical aptitude a plus

Pay: $36,400.00 - $41,600.00 per year
