**Position Description**:
We are looking for an Underground Laborer to join our growing team. This individual will be required to adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work.

**Underground Laborer Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy equipment to trench, place, duct, pull cable and direct bury main-line and drops
- Use cable placement equipment and tools
- Identify and troubleshoot problems
- Hand dig and back fill trenches
- Provide ground support for backhoe and drill operators
- Carry and load materials to be used on the job site
- Operate small hand tools
- Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, tools and supplies

**Underground Laborer Requirements**:

- Valid US driver’s license & Class A CDL
- Some knowledge of the construction industry
- Ability to operate equipment including, but not limited to, a trencher, a backhoe, excavators, directional drills
- Familiarity with horizontal direction drills
- Positive attitude, hard work ethic and a priority for safety
- Ability to travel and work outside in all types of weather
