**Maintenance Handyman Responsibilities**:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
- Install new equipment, fixtures, and systems as required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and develop appropriate solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
**Maintenance Handyman Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and operating machinery.
**Maintenance Handyman Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in a similar role within a commercial or residential setting.
- Certification or license in a relevant field, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
**Pay Rate**: $23 an hour.
