Job Title: Receptionist

Reports to: Director of Support Services

Hours worked per week not to exceed: 37.5 hours

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Hourly)

**Purpose of Position**:
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers of Milestone Senior Services while maintaining customer confidentiality. Assess customer needs to match those needs with the programs and services offered by the agency and complete intake activity. Also, may provide service referrals to other community organizations when appropriate.

**Essential Functions**:

- Provides exceptional customer service by delivering timely, accurate, helpful information.
- Assess customer needs and match to programs and services offered by the agency or other community resources. Complete an accurate intake addressing area of assistance.
- Accurately and efficiently completes dynamic intake documentation and forwards referrals to internal departments for timely client service starts.
- Performs data entry consistently and accurately, obtaining detailed information from customers/prospects for documentation and further assistance.
- Works in a collaborative manner with other program staff to ensure services are delivered to customer.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services.

**Education/Experience**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 or more years’ experience working with Behavioral Health clientele.
- Customer service experience with basic knowledge of services and programs available in the aging network.
- Requires ability to adapt to new technology, systems, and program requirements according to business need.
- Ability to speak a language in addition to English is desired, but not required.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Non-exempt position starting at $15.71 -17.95, adjusted for experience.
