Manager, Organizational Change Management

The Manager of Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Training is responsible for consulting with the business and supporting the implementation of OCM methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization. This person will work closely with business leaders, IT, and key stakeholders. The role manages a team of contractors ensuring that resource placements are appropriately aligned to projects based on the scope, schedule, and budget. Additionally, the OCM Manager is responsible for overseeing and evaluating the design, development, and delivery of customized, system-wide training programs across multiple states (MA/CT/NH).
**Essential Functions**:

- The Manager, OCM and Training will provide expert consultation, support and guidance to internal clients ensuring projects meet objectives by increasing stakeholder adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. They will consult the business on structured methodology and change management tools and advise internal clients on strategy to support adoption of changes for projects including system and process implementations, gap analysis, and coordination of program improvement, communications, and training activities.
- Develops and advocates for a Change Management culture and well as makes a decision on which OCM tools and methodologies are best for the organization. Recommends, designs and implements continuous improvements to the OCM and processes and champions the OCM model and its consistent usage across all lines of business.
- Lead efforts to design in-house training programs for new systems and processes, which include a blended approach to learning such as classroom training, action learning, and e-learning. Utilize industry and OCM best practices to ensure best-in-class experience for new hires and continuous improvement for existing employees.
- Be an active and productive liaison/partner with the operations and business teams consistently seeking to make a positive impact on key business safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience metrics. Consult on learning strategies and effectiveness, audit training delivery, provide feedback to on-site trainers and leadership, and gather feedback from the field to improve learning and development programs.
- Consults with Eversource IT concerning the design, installation and updating of all E-Learning and other interactive software programs for system implementations.
- Lead business system and process redesign initiatives in conjunction with vendors, technical experts, line management and employees, and updates and incorporates new procedures and revisions into training programs.
- Consults with business partners on the change management aspects of the introduction of new business processes and technology, and develops and implements the communication and change management plans.
- Develop and implement training plans and/or work with business training groups to support change management and/or introduce updated or improved programs.
- Provide thought leadership in continuously exploring new and innovative approaches.
- Supports Emergency response Planning (ERP) role.
- Manages a team of contractors ensuring that projects are on track and within budget.

**Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications**:

- Technical Knowledge/Skill/Experience:_
- Strong knowledge of OCM methodologies (ADKAR/PROSCI, AIM, etc.), instructional design, on-line learning development methodology, and E-Learning simulations, assessments, and software. Knowledge of key technologies and platforms in the learning development and delivery space.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to plan, organize, motivate others and complete projects from start to end within requested timelines requiring continuous monitoring of resources and shifting resources to support shift in project timelines.
- Knowledge of business processes, culture and systems that support an operations environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Instructional Design Methodologies for both traditional instructor led and web-based training materials and ability to use technology (MS Office Suite).
- Experience in “train the trainer” practices, technical writing for development of on-line training and leading a team of consultants and vendors through change management and training design and rollout efforts.
- A strong understanding of the underlying technologies and possesses proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams through all phases of implementing solutions, delivering valuable products and services on time, within budget, and within compliance of internally required and externally mandated regulations, standards and practices.
