**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
This position provides support in Parish Operations by influencing a culture of missionary discipleship in the parishes and schools in the Diocese of Green Bay. This position supports parishes and schools in need of parish planning, operational assessments, and alignment to mission. Provides support as requested to the Diocesan Regional Planning Process. Provides directives and oversite for parish operational policies and guidelines, including governance of Church Management Software (GabrielSoft).

**MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- “Embrace the mission and vision of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay and work in accordance with Catholic Teachings and the moral and ethical values of the Catholic Church.”_
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in school or business administration, pastoral ministry or related field.
- Requires 10 or more years of experience in parish operations and ministry, preferably with a parish that has a Catholic School.
- High degree of leadership and management skills; Consultation and conflict resolution skills.
- Multi-tasking, priority setting, leadership, ability to vision, plan and execute programs and services as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Individual and group facilitation of parish and school volunteers, leadership, boards/councils and professional staff at times of crisis and stress in parish/school life.
- Current theories, principles, programs and practices of diocesan, parish and school administrative and governing policies and procedures in the Diocese of Green Bay.
- How to plan, facilitate and guide cross functional planning teams in developing mission and vision statements, goals, actions and monitoring of outcomes for planning team decisions and continuous improvement.
- Written report formats, operational and financial analysis.
- Online presentation and team collaboration tools.
- Methods to work with challenging parish or school situations with sensitive issues.
- Planning, facilitating and guiding diocesan, parish and school teams as they work through complex operational data, processes, organizational structures and decisions.
- Managing multiple tasks with varying deadlines, constituencies and issues utilizing effective group techniques.
- Mediating complex and conflicting situations to satisfactory solutions to issues and problems.
- Writing and editing instructional and planning documents, training and presentation material.
- Creating, editing and presenting policies and procedures to audiences in diocesan, parish and school meetings
- Speaking publicly within parish or school town hall meetings, boards, councils, committees, workshops and educational/training sessions.
