**The Violence Intervention Program, Inc. (VIP)** is the only culturally specific non-profit organization in New York City serving Latinx survivors of domestic and sexual violence, the vast majority of whom are immigrants. Created as a grassroots response to intimate partner violence and sexual assault, VIP has always centered survivors in its leadership and has worked to create a community of staff that reflects the rich national, ethnic and racial diversity of the communities it serves. VIP operates three community-based social service programs, two residential shelter and housing programs, a helpline, innovative economic justice, children and adolescent and sexual violence programs, and a robust community engagement team.

**Essential Functions**:

- Coordinate with all VIP programs to identify and refer eligible families impacted by domestic violence;
- Supervise team of social workers, mental health counselors & interns delivering clinical services to parents and children;
- Work with Directors and Director of Quality Assurance to determine program goals and program structure;
- Create a culturally affirming curriculum with the goal of strengthening bonds between parents and children;
- Provide comprehensive short-term individual and group counseling services with a trauma and strength-based perspective to help clients cope and heal from the experience of domestic violence;
- Collaborate with project partners to develop guidelines and trainings that improve systems response to children impacted by domestic violence;
- Providing clinical consultations on impact of domestic violence on children for VIP staff;
- Working collaboratively with other program(s) and agency staff to improve delivery of services;
- Keep supervisors informed of new developments; best practice and trends in the program's operation and be alert to changing community needs;
- Remain abreast of new developments and changes in policies and practices impacting survivors;
- Conduct educational workshops to raise awareness of impact of domestic violence on Latinx children;
- Attend agency and department meetings and other external community meetings, task force meetings etc., related to domestic violence;
- Represent VIP at conferences, community meetings & special events; promoting VIP services at all public functions.

**Data Collection & Assessment**:

- Work with Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance and Director of Specialized Programs to ensure timely delivery of all grant reports;
- Prepares and/or reviews agency and program wide quantitative and qualitative data;
- Participate in dissemination of data findings, including presentations at conferences, webinars and development of white paper;
- Manage budget and program oversight, ensure compliance with all program requirements and prepare interim and final grant reports;
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation requirements (including logs, case notes, statistical and narrative reports, etc.);
- Maintain up-to-date data entry of all groups and outreach/training conducted and direct services provided;
- Evaluate program effectiveness/efficiency to ensure highest standards of excellence in services and full compliance with policies, procedures and contractual obligations;
- Provide periodic review, evaluation, cost analysis and modification of the program to meet client needs as well as funding source requirements.

**Additional Functions**:

- Responsible for short-term and long-term planning;
- Perform other tasks as required, including any related administrative duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in counseling, social work or related field plus three (3) years post graduate clinical experience;
- LMHC, LMSW or other clinical license required;
- At least two (2) years, experience providing counseling and other clinical related services to trauma survivors;
- At least two (2) years’ experience providing counseling to children and families;
- At least two (2) year experience providing individual and group clinical supervision focused on professional development, best practice, and review of session notes;
- Experience with advocacy-based counseling and/or other empowerment-based models;
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities: CFTSI, CBT, Exposure Therapy or Motivational Interviewing preferred;
- Minimum of one (1) year of program and grant management experience;
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written & verbal);
- Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment;
- Familiarity with issues of trauma, violence prevention and victimization;
