Under the general direction of the Compliance Resolution Program (CRP) Section Chief (Staff Services Manager II), the incumbent functions as a high-level technical expert that independently completes the most difficult, complex, and sensitive default issues of Department-funded projects. The incumbent works closely with various sections of the Department to assist in compliance matters and develop policies and procedures for the CRP Section and the Asset Management and Compliance (AMC) Branch within the Division of State Financial Assistance (DSFA).

**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Experience in underwriting affordable rental housing projects, affordable housing finance, and loan programs related to affordable housing.
- Experience with legal aspects of real estate financing and ownership and escrow transactions, including loan workouts, lawsuits, foreclosures, and bankruptcy.
- Excellent organizational, caseload management/monitoring, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with policy development and implementation and drafting regulations, procedures, and conducting training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and members of the public while displaying excellent customer service skills.
- Experience preparing presentational reports using large data sets.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and other databases.
- Experience interpreting State and Federal Statutes, Regulations, and Guidelines.
Pay: $6,243.00 - $7,815.00 per month
