**Duties**:
**As a Management and Program Analyst, you will**:

- Serve as a key member of the DOE Isotope Program, responsible for the planning and organization of expert peer review of scientific and industrial efforts.
- Assess, review, and research policies and procedures to ensure office compliance with regulations, requirements, and limitations regarding Federal Advisory Committees.
- Organize large public meetings with varied stakeholders.
- Manage the office research grant and cooperative agreement actions with automated systems and track performance.
- Manage the office personnel actions.
- Develop documentation and train federal staff and civilians on policies and regulations regarding grants, peer review and federal advisory committees.

- You must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

- This position does not support 100% remote work. You will be required to report physically to the official reporting worksite as specified by the supervisor, but no less than 2 days per pay period.
- You are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of entering the position and annually.
- A preliminary background check must be completed before a new employee can begin work. Current Federal employees or other individuals with an existing completed background investigation may not be required to undergo another background check.
- This position is included in a Bargaining Unit.

**Qualifications**:

- Managing research grant/cooperative agreement actions using automated systems to analyze and research action statuses.
- Organizing peer review of research proposals to include assembling teams of experts, writing reports, and managing databases.
- Advising and training staff on policy strategies to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory commitments.
- Overseeing and organizing public meetings with a varied group of stakeholders such as industrial and academic representatives.
