**Job description**

Cal Spas, the leader in our industry of Spas and BBQ's is seeking an energetic person who can work in fast paced environment to perform purchasing/procurement functions and interface with the vendors of the company.

**Characteristic Duties and Responsibility**:

- Negotiate and carry out the purchasing of production raw materials, office supplies, capital equipment, licenses, outside services and other items required.
- Negotiate vendor agreements that minimize inventory exposure while assuring on time delivery
- Critically assess suppliers, products, and services, and negotiate the best possible deals.
- Report to management on the status of vendor dealings as required by specific projects
- Evaluates procurement data and monitors key purchasing metrics.
- Schedules purchase orders strategically to ensure items are available when required for production.
- Research goods and services as required
- Monitor daily reports and create purchase orders in order to meet daily requirements for items needed for production.

**Salary**: From $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pomona, CA 91766: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Procurement: 2 year (preferred)
- Purchasing: 3 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
