Payroll Administrator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain confidential employee personnel files
- Compile, review and prepare field time sheets for weekly payroll
- Resolve payroll and equipment discrepancies, input labor and equipment hours and material commitments into Sage 300 by job according to union contract pay rates
- Process payroll, review for accuracy, print checks and assemble for review and signature by company President
- Prepare union fringe reports and payment voucher for each craft
- Become familiar with, and have the ability to navigate, all union contracts for research of procedures and pay rates.
- Prepare separation packets for layoffs and terminations
- Maintain accurate worker’s comp, union fringe benefits and payroll tables
- Prepare analysis and other reports for senior management
- Manage weekly wage garnishments, certified payroll report and paid time off schedule.
- New hire reporting, employment verifications, yearend reporting including ACA filings, issuing W2s and other related payroll functions and duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience in a union organization
- Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of Sage/Timberline Software
- An employment background and drug screening is required for this position

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
