Advise internal teams on compliance requirements and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
**Classification and Valuation**:Classify products according to the Harmonized System (HS) and determine accurate customs valuation.
Provide guidance on tariff codes and duty rates applicable to specific goods.
**Communication**:Effectively communicate with internal teams, customs officials, and external partners to resolve clearance issues promptly.
Respond to inquiries from clients and stakeholders regarding customs-related matters.
**Problem Resolution**:Proactively identify and address customs clearance issues to prevent delays in the supply chain.
Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve any discrepancies or challenges in the customs clearance process.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Customs Clearance Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping processes.
- Familiarity with tariff codes, HS classification, and customs valuation.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
