The CRM Associate will partake in facilitating our efforts to capture, organize, use and analyze constituent data to achieve Tunnel to Towers’ organizational objectives. The CRM Associate will maintain the daily operation of Tunnel to Towers’ database/CRM system. They will track Tunnel to Towers’ collaborative projects including, but not limited to, marketing and public information, outreach and general constituent relationship management. Responsibilities will range from daily oversight of data availability and quality to work with other technical resources and Tunnel to Towers’ management team on strategic initiatives.
- Duties and responsibilities_
- Organize, monitor, and analyze data entry across all departments of the organization. Create and use appropriate reports and data quality tools to ensure the highest quality for all essential data.
- Utilize various different Microsoft Excel skills and formulas to provide support to the Donor Support Team on matters related to updating and maintaining donor records, transaction history, record duplication and reporting.
- Provide support to the Finance Team on matters related to uploading data from internal financial systems to the organization’s CRM.
- Collaborate with finance, marketing, donor support and development teams to improve the customer experience and to analyze the use of data between customers and key team members.
- Investigate and analyze the flow of donations in order to meet the research needs of various departments within the organization.
- Qualifications_
- Communication and research skills commensurate with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years nonprofit technology experience, or other equivalent background.
- Database management skills with contemporary relational databases, including administrative configuration, reporting, dashboards and data quality skills.
- Well versed in cloud software management, particularly CRM systems, for general database administration, security, back up, data imports and exports, and integration.
- Must possess excellent analytical, research, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills, with technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Position requires proficiency in CRM administration, including prospect and constituent management, data quality, developing reports in equivalent software systems as well as good understanding of nonprofit fundraising processes, donor cultivation, nonprofit marketing and related financial requirements.
- Position also requires good understanding of software and business processes associated with project management and grant management software systems to support Tunnel to Towers’ programs, and initiatives.
- Must have a strong customer service orientation, including ability to respond quickly and effectively to front line staff of varying technical backgrounds.
- This position requires comfort and effectiveness translating between end user needs and database output. Must be able to understand staff needs so as to accurately translate their requests into effective queries and reports.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
- Strong experience with most primary office software packages, including MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Active Directory and other typical software systems.
- Must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills such as using shortcuts and formula functions, sorting and filtering data, building charts and graphs, and utilizing pivot tables.
- Understands general web concepts in order to liaise with various teams for online forms and integrations.
- Working conditions_

Special Working conditions may include: a change in days worked, shift hours, and/or working conditions (outdoors or other locations) when participating and assisting in special events such as: NYC Tunnel to Towers Run, golf outings, and other fundraising events, as required.

Pay: $20.26 - $24.39 per hour
