**Class Summary**
- College of the Mainland is seeking a full time Criminal Justice Faculty member to lead the expansion of the Criminal Justice Associate of Arts degree program. This position works closely with the Director of the Law Enforcement Training Center on the Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.

**Minimum Education/Training/Experience**
- Master’s degree in Criminal Justice
OR
Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in a qualifying field
OR
Law degree with 18 graduate hours related to criminal justice
Minimum qualifications must be met to be considered for credentialing

**Preferred Education/Training/Experience**
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice
At least seven (7) years of professional experience in the field of criminal justice to include: law enforcement, probation, corrections, courts, etc. Certifications, if any, must be in good standing, if applicable, in your specific area of expertise.
Experience in teaching/advising/mentoring high school and/or college-level students with broad, diverse backgrounds is also desired.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of current instructional techniques and technology and knowledge and experience in teaching. Knowledge of Desire to Learn/Brightspace or other LMS systems is desirable.
Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communications and people skills.
