**Brea Regional needs Experienced Vet Assistants to work along side the RVT’s to provide medical support to keep the system and schedule run smoothly. Your technical skills must be ready for this opportunity.**

**Responsibilities**:
**Perform all of your duties with integrity, compassion, patience and understanding.**

**Assist in dental suite as needed/Dental assistance experience required.**

**Assist in surgical prep, and recovery record keeping.**

**Assist in transport, handling and restraint with rooms and treatment.**

Perform nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings, Microchips, vaccines and other injections under the supervision of the RVT/DVM team.

Perform radiographs, blood draw, and use of laboratory equipment as directed under the supervision of the RVT/DVM team.

Perform all duties requested by RVT/DVM team.

Inventory, cleaning, restocking are all common duties and this list does not include all duties that may be assigned.

Knowledge and ability of surgical cleaning & Autoclave, clean/prep rooms, treatment areas and surgery suite.

On-going laundry of ICU and surgery/time management a must.

Must be able to kneel, stretch, sit, walk and stand for some time to assist with RVT/DVM team.

Must be comfortable to use a ladder, mop, dust, and other cleaning supplies for proper work performance.

Assist reception as needed.
