The Production Associate will be responsible for following all production policies and procedures to support the start-up of this new operation. This individual will work in a team environment and will report to the Production Supervisor.

**Pay Range**:$17.00/ hr

**Status**:Hourly, Fulltime

**Days of the Week Needed**:Friday-Tuesday or Thursday-Monday**, weekends and holidays.**

**Shifts**:

- 2nd 1:30pm-10pm
- 3rd 9:30pm-6am

**Work Hours**:8 hours possible OT

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow all Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties
- Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production.
- Stand at packing lines to observe and test packets of finished goods
- Keep up with the speed of the packing machine.
- Package finished product into crates.
- Stack full crates (30-40 lbs) on pallets.
- Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
- Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized.
- Use squeegee, brush, and broom to clean room for CIP.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Environment**:

- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**:Hair and beard net, gloves, safety shoes, bump cap, smocks
- **Chemical Exposure**:Cleaning Supplies and Food Allergens
- **Temperature**:65 degrees fahrenheit

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to able to bend twist, stoop, squat, and pivot.
- Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
