**The Role**:
Purchasing Manager - Construction

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing construction materials including sheetrock, flooring, paint, protection materials and any and all items including small equipment
- Coordindate with in-field project managers and field supers to ensure necessary materials are being ordered and received in a timely manger for ongoing jobs.
- Research, evaluate, vet and set-up vendors and suppliers
- Ensures vendors meet any compliance needs
- Source and negotiate pricing
- Create purchasing policies, procedures and processes
- Issue purchase orders and maintain purchasing logs
- Maintain inventory of all materials at various sites

Additional responsibilities as required

**Your skills**:

- Consistent and clear communication
- Excellent computer skills - Procore a plus
- Previous experience in construction or a trade
- Previous purchasing experience a must
- Desire to learn and grow
- Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Punctual and organized
- Detail and goal oriented
