Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Contract Administrator to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Space Security Contracts team. This is a unique opportunity to build experience, mentoring relationships, and career growth by contributing to the Contracts role**. This position is in Dulles, VA**; and offers unique flexibility while supporting the Contracts team.

The Staff Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Staff Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, and meet the goals/objectives of the SPS business unit.

**Roles and responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator will include the following**:

- Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
- Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress and other reports.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
- Compiles and analyzes data.
- Maintains historical information.
