Ormond Beach, United States JAX HVAC, Inc. Full time

JAX HVAC is searching for a Foreman for the Jacksonville area with commercial HVAC experience. This position is directly responsible for the coordination of field personnel, serving as the liaison between the Regional Manager, Project Managers, Superintendent and field staff to ensure that quality standards are met.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Assigns work duties and sets job site policies.
- Commercial HVAC experience is a must have
- Orders, receives, inventories and distributes materials efficiently.
- Allocates general and daily responsibilities.
- Supervises and trains workers.
- Ensures manpower and resources are adequate.
- Guarantees all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Supervises the use of machinery and equipment.
- Resolves problems as they arise.
- Reports on progress to supervisors, project managers, etc.
- Assists the Superintendent in managing the customer relationship and the JAX install teams to ensure the jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and on-time.

- Submits crewmembers’ timesheet to payroll by established deadline.
- Performs additional duties which may be required by supervisor.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic.
- Must have overall knowledge of HVAC systems (CA, chilled water and refrigerant piping, extensive sheet metal takeoff, retrofit and installation experience and ability to set, install and coordinate start-up of typical HVAC equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to ready drawings, plans and blueprints.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to travel, work weekends and overtime.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
