Braxton Manufacturing has been in business for 60 years specializing in deep drawn stamping. Braxton has openings for qualified individuals who seek a career in manufacturing. We currently have an opening for a Quality Technician at our Watertown CT facility.

Job requirements:

- Perform receiving inspection of raw material and secondary operations, final inspections and first piece inspection
- Manage the raw material hold area, ensure timely disposition, and return of defective material. Report on status.
- Issue and follow-up on Supplier Quality issues.
- Assist in the writing/developing raw material specifications.
- Must be well organized and self-motivated
- Good Written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Good math skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision and multitask
- Ability to use a variety of inspection equipment - Micrometers, Digital indicators, Comparators, Smart Scope, etc.
- Mechanically inclined - Maintain automated sorting equipment
- High School Degree or higher - Technical High School preferred
- 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Quality environment preferred - willing to train
- Dayshift, 10-hour position, onsite

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
