- Cardiology experience Preferred.
**Job Functions**:
- Front Office:_
- Checking patients in for appointments.
- Confirming demographics and insurance.
- Checking out patients by scheduling testing.
- Follow up appointments, sending lab orders.
- Answering phone calls.
- Calling patients to confirm appointments.
- Rescheduling appointments.
- Procedure scheduling.
- Back Office:_
- Rooms patients upon arrival, documenting patient's vital signs and chief complaint in the patient's chart.
- Confirms current medication list and any additional information as instructed by the physician.
- Provide translation for physician.
- Assumes responsibility for assisting physicians with procedures and tests within the Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
- Orders prescriptions medications, obtaining any authorization needed and notifies patient of any problems.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
