**Minimum Qualifications**

Six years of experience* in the provision of domestic or gender-based violence prevention services; the provision of human services, training and education, government, social justice or gender-based advocacy services; or public policy research and development.
- Substitutions: A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of specialized experience; a master’s degree may substitute for five years of specialized experience; or a Ph.D. may substitute for six years of specialized experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the field of developmental disabilities, experience in the field of gender-based violence, or other programming in support of children and families with developmental disabilities. Fluency in Spanish preferred.

**Duties Description**

The Project Coordinator is responsible for meeting all deliverables as outlined in the Council on Developmental Disabilities (CDD) contract, with the goal of increasing accessibility to domestic and sexual violence services for survivors with developmental disabilities.
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the development of survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive curricula and in the planning, coordination, and implementation of training initiatives for developmental disability service providers (DD), domestic violence providers (DV), and rape crisis programs (RCP), in partnership with the consultant agency and project consultants with lived experience, including:

- Conduct needs assessment research.
- Develop learning objectives, training lessons and related materials including activities, practices, job aids, handouts, workbooks, etc.
- Evaluate training programs.
- Assist in the development of resources and technical assistance for DD/DV/RCP providers, including:

- Resource guides, conversation scripts, assessment tools, reasonable accommodation modifications, best practices, etc.
- Co-facilitate trainings with consultant agency and project consultants with lived experience.
- Prepare written reports and evaluations as required by the agency and/or funding sources.
- Coordinate meetings and collaborate with the advisory council.
- Develop a plan for the last year of the project, with a preventative focus on increasing the accessibility of comprehensive sexuality education and violence prevention programming for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct outreach to community partners and stakeholder groups.
- Assist in the review of domestic violence and sexual violence educational, training, informational materials and policies, as they relate to survivors with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct research to enhance project activities.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.

**Additional Comments**

NOTE:

- Travel may be required (approximately 20%), including during evening and weekends, depending on mission and assignment.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.
